Freyja Golbach
Freyja Golbach is a New York City born, Baltimore-based costumer and artist. She graduated from New York Film Academy with a Certificate in Cinematography in 2017 and received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021. She is a current member of IATSE Local 487 as a set costumer and seamstress/tailor.
Freyja is dedicated to a career that intersects the academic study of fashion and film/tv production. Especially intrigued by historical fashion, she would like to pursue a dedicated lifelong study in that field as an academic and as a designer.
Her film career spans roughly half a decade. She currently works as a union costumer in the Baltimore and DC area. She also steps in for commercial grip/electric jobs and is a freelance camera operator on corporate AV jobs.
She worked as stage designer for NYC-based production company “Sounds So Sweet” in 2017. Freyja has also painted at several music festivals and events as part of the live entertainment including Bassnectar New Years Eve 360 2018, Nightmare Festival 2018, Equinox Festival 2019 in Maine, Yonderville 2019, Big Dub 2019 and 2021, and Beauty in the Backyard 2019.
